The Global Business Alliance (GBA) is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student interested in business, nonprofit management, marketing or related careers for its Fall 2022 Business Development & Membership Programs Internship. The internship is an excellent way for inquisitive students interested in association management, business development, membership relationsto gain valuable experience while advancing their educational pursuits. 

As the only organization focused exclusively on supporting the international business community in Washington, D.C., GBA ensures that policymakers at the federal, state and local level understand the critical role that foreign direct investment (FDI) plays in America’s economy. GBA advocates for fair, non-discriminatory treatment of international companies and promotes policies that will encourage them to establish U.S. operations, which in turn increases American employment and U.S. economic growth.

GBA is an Equal Opportunity employer and currently operates with a hybrid telecommuting and in-person work model. Being located in the Washington DC area is required for in-person work.

Timeframe and Compensation

Fall 2022 (mid-Sept - mid-Dec)

up to 20 hours per week

$16.10 per hour


Must be a college junior, senior, graduate student, or recent graduate with excellent research and writing skills and experience with Microsoft Office products. Association management software skills, particularly experience using Salesforce, are a plus! Prior DC-based intern experience preferred. This is a partially remote position; you will be provided a GBA laptop for working remotely but will be required to be able to work in the GBA office on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays.
