Deirdre Manna Zurich is Head of Government & Regulatory Relations for Zurich North America, where she develops and advances state and federal public policy initiatives that align with the organization’s priorities. She is also responsible for overseeing Zurich’s regulatory affairs strategy and the Zurich Political Action Committee (Z-PAC) and leading the company’s state and federal teams.
Manna joined Zurich in July 2018 and has 20 years of regulatory and political engagement experience. She joined Zurich from the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI), where she served as Political Engagement and Regulatory Affairs Vice President. Previously, she was a state insurance regulator and served as acting Director of the Illinois Division of Insurance and Assistant Vice President of the American Insurance Association. Prior to these roles, she worked in government relations for a prominent national law firm.
Manna currently serves on the boards of the Global Business Alliance, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Harper Community College Foundation Board and Insurance Information Institute. She was named among the insurance industry’s Elite Women of 2017 by Insurance Business of America.
Manna earned a bachelor’s degree from Drake University.
