Jeff Werner

Jeff Werner is Vice President of Corporate & Government Affairs at Panasonic Corporation of North America. In this role, Jeff leads Panasonic’s strategic direction in navigating the legislative and regulatory processes at all levels of government in North America. He is responsible for the company’s government and public affairs office in Washington, D.C., as well as the environmental and product safety compliance units at headquarters in Newark, N.J.

Since joining Panasonic in 2017, Jeff works to advance the company’s public strategy to foster the century-old mission of contributing to society through its products and solutions, and its commitment as a government and community partner. Jeff’s experience in international relations and government affairs helps position Panasonic for growth, strengthening our relationships with governments in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to Panasonic, Jeff served as general manager for international and public policy for Daimler, managing the company’s international government affairs for U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Jeff currently serves on the boards of the Panasonic Foundation and the Global Business Alliance, and on the advisory board of the Association of the Former Members of Congress (FMC). He holds a MSc from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA from Hobart College, and lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Claudia.
