Peter Cleveland serves as Senior Vice President at the largest semiconductor foundry in the world. He advises TSMC’s CEO and Management Committee. The global chipmaker manufactures advanced semiconductors and maintains a $1 trillion market capitalization. Previously, Cleveland served sixteen years in the U.S. Senate as chief of staff for California Senator Dianne Feinstein and as a professional staff member on the Senate Foreign Relations and Intelligence Committees. In private legal practice, he focused on corporate finance matters. Cleveland has chaired the BOD of trade associations, such as the Information Technology Industry Council and Trans-Atlantic Business Council. In his role at TSMC, he helps drive tech industry consensus on global semiconductor policies, IP protection and enforcement, tax, trade, and export controls. He is a member of the New York and Washington, D.C. Bar Associations and Council on Foreign Relations. Cleveland graduated from Columbia University (BA) and Georgetown University (JD).
