Advocacy Alert: Calling on Congress to
Reach a Tax Deal

GBA is at the forefront in advocating for a pro-growth tax deal that restores three essential provisions to the Internal Revenue Code: research and development expensing, interest deductibility and bonus depreciation.

GBA fully supported the bipartisan Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act from last Congress and was encouraged to see it overwhelmingly pass House of Representatives. However, the bill did not make it over the finish line.

GBA is here fighting to get the job done in the 119th Congress.

GBA Signed Multi-Association Letter to Congressional Leadership

In January, GBA and over 260 other associations representing hundreds of thousands of businesses sent a letter to Senate and House leadership in strong support of the Tax Relief for American Workers and Families Act and urged Congress to pass the bill quickly.
