Policy Communications Internship

The Global Business Alliance (GBA) is seeking students interested in communications, public relations or related careers for its policy communications internship program.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching policy issues
  • Analyzing economic data
  • Drafting opinion pieces
  • Monitoring media for news and information
  • Tracking website analytics
  • Managing social media initiatives
  • Learning photographic and video editing
  • Executing public relations plans

Timeframe and Compensation:

  • Apply now for the following terms:
  • Spring: January-April, up to 20 hours per week
  • Summer: May-August, up to 30 hours per week
  • Fall: September-December, up to 20 hours per week
  • $17.50 per hour

Qualifications & Requirements

This internship is open to college juniors, seniors, graduate students, or recent graduates with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) and a demonstrated interest in communications, journalism, political science, economics or public policy. Experience in graphic design, web video production and editorial writing is preferred for the position. This is a partially remote position; you will be provided a GBA laptop for working remotely but will be required to be able to work in the GBA office on Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays.
